-Project-based field trips: We will work with teachers to devise an age appropriate art project that ties in with current curriculum. Space to Create will provide materials and instruction.
-Curriculum based art project for teachers: For those teachers needing to boost their in-class art curriculum we will work to research and create projects. We will provide a lesson plan and supply list. Space to Create is also available to lead the art project in the classroom at area schools.
-Art docents and teacher training: Space to Create provides training to art docents and teachers in different art methods. If there is a specific training you are interested in, please let us know. Classes can be arranged to meet specific needs of teachers and docents.

The land of Dr. Seuss: With Dr. Seuss as inspiration, students will create a multi-media sculpture project
Marble Maze: Using various materials, students will design chutes and switch-backs to create a fun and engaging toy
Fleece Critters: Students will create their own fuzzy critter by hand sewing fleece using buttons, fleece and stuffing

This class is designed for art docents, teachers and parents interested in learning how to teach and encourage kids in the arts. These sessions will be fun, educational and interactive.
